The Metro East Art Tour

The Metro East Art Tour represents an exciting collaborative effort between the Edwardsville Arts Center (EAC) in Edwardsville, and the Jacoby Arts Center (JAC) in Alton.

This initiative is designed to spotlight and celebrate the vibrant artistic community within Madison County, IL. By showcasing the diverse talents of local artists and art organizations, the tour will enhance regional visibility and foster deeper connections between artists and the community.

The project will unfold over a weekend-long event, featuring a series of exhibitions and art technique demonstrations across various locations throughout Madison County. Scheduled for Dec. 7 and 8, 2024, the event will provide an immersive experience for attendees, allowing them to explore personal artist studios, visit local art organizations, and engage with businesses partnering with artists. Each participating venue will host a range of activities, from art displays to interactive demonstrations, creating a dynamic and enriching cultural experience.
